string(1585) "Opening Act: WESLEY STACE (John Wesley Harding)

Squeeze first formed in 1973, shortly after Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook had begun their songwriting partnership. By 1977 they had made their recording debut and enjoyed a string of hits. Over the years there have been solo careers and occasional separations, but the Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriting duo Chris and Glenn reunited ten years ago to relaunch Squeeze and have been touring, writing and recording together since.

2015 saw the release of the critically acclaimed ‘Cradle to the Grave’ which was written as a soundtrack to Danny Baker’s BBC TV sitcom ‘Cradle To Grave’ (starring Peter Kay). The band has long been a captivating live act, and in 2016 they triumphed on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury with The Guardian saying they “[went] down a storm… Squeeze’s success is a pretty infectious thing”.

Squeeze is currently in the studio recording a new album before heading out on tour in Autumn 2017.  The new line up has been unveiled which features the addition of bassist Yolanda Charles, drummer Simon Hanson, lord of the keyboard, Stephen Large, and Steve Smith on percussion.

string(1714) "The Wizards of Winter are an eclectic group of musicians from the Metro NY, NJ, PA region with strong Classical and Progressive Rock influences woven throughout their musical careers. One clear vision originally brought this group of talented performers together in 2010. That was to faithfully reproduce the music of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) and present it in a more intimate setting.

The vision quickly grew in 2011 when the band began recording an performing their own unique original material. While similar to TSO in its style, the Wizards original material is unique unto itself. The Wizards now perform a few of TSO's greatest hits but most of the concert is comprised of their own original music. The band now has two full length albums of original material available with a third one under development for release later in 2017.

The Wizards have had the pleasure of touring with four of the original members of TSO (Tommy Farese, Guy LeMonnier, Tony Gaynor, and Joe Cerisano). Tony Gaynor and Guy LeMonnier have gone on to become permanent members of The Wizards. The result of months of practice is always a powerful, tight production that brings audiences to their feet at every performance. The band now regularly sells out 1k-2k seat theaters. 2017 will bring a bigger stage production, and a third album!

Melissa Etheridge is one of rock music’s great female icons.  Her critically acclaimed eponymous debut album was certified double platinum. Etheridge’s popularity built around such memorable songs as “Bring Me Some Water,” “No Souvenirs” and “Ain't It Heavy” for which she won her first Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal. Etheridge hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, Yes I Am, featuring the massive hits “I’m the Only One” and “Come to My Window,” a searing song of longing that brought her a second Grammy.  The six times platinum album spent more than two and a half years on the album chart.  Etheridge is also an Oscar winner for Best Original Song in 2007.  In 2011 Melissa made her Broadway debut as St. Jimmy in Green Day’s rock opera, American Idiot, where she replaced Billie Joe Armstrong for one week, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In fall of 2016, Etheridge released MEmphis Rock & Soul, her first album since 2014. Recorded at Royal Studios in Memphis, the album features original material as well as interpretations of classic songs from the legendary Stax catalog.

For these special holiday shows, Melissa will be performing songs from her 2008 holiday album, A New Thought For Christmas. Songs will include fan favorites and holiday classics such as “Merry Christmas Baby,” Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “O Night Divine” and more.

See below for details. A Wizard, A True Star. The title of Todd Rundgren's 1973 solo album aptly sums up the contributions of this multi-faceted artist to state-of-the-art music. As a songwriter, video pioneer, producer, recording artist, computer software developer, conceptualist, and interactive artist (re-designated TR-i), Rundgren has made a lasting impact on both the form and content of popular music. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Rundgren began playing guitar as a teenager, going on to found and front The Nazz, the quintessential `60's cult group. In 1969, he left the band to pursue a solo career, recording his debut offering, the legendary Runt. But it was 1972's seminal Something/Anything?, on which he played all the instruments, sang all the vocal parts, and acted as his own producer, that catapulted Todd into the superstar limelight, prompting the press to unanimously dub him 'Rock's New Wunderkind'. It was followed by such landmark LPs as The Hermit of Mink Hollow and the above mentioned A Wizard, A True Star, as well as such hit singles as "I Saw The Light", "Hello It's Me", "Can We Still Be Friends", and "Bang The Drum." Rundgren's myriad production projects include albums by Patti Smith, Cheap Trick, Psychedelic Furs, Meatloaf, XTC, Grand Funk Railroad, and Hall And Oates. Rounding out his reputation as rock's Renaissance Man, Rundgren composed all the music and lyrics for Joe Papp's 1989 Off-Broadway production of Joe Orton's Up Against It  (the screenplay commissioned by The Beatles for what was meant to have been their third motion picture). He also has composed the music for a number of television series, including Pee Wee’s Playhouse and Crime Story.

This is the original Sinatra tribute concert in New Jersey and takes place each year at the historic Count Basie Theatre. Under the musical direction of Joe Muccioli, who Jazzwise Magazine says works with “a maximum of authenticity,” and backed by the acclaimed 28-piece Red Bank Jazz Orchestra, the cast sings the great songs of the American Songbook and many of the tunes associated with Sinatra during his long career. The Sinatra Birthday Bash is not a costume and wig show, but a sincere, respectful tribute in music and song to one of New Jersey’s favorite and most famous sons.
