Since her last hysterical Basie appearance, Kathleen Madigan
defeated Larry the Cable Guy to become the Sirius Radio Comedy Cup winner, and
toured Iraq and Afghanistan with the USO, learning that being in the military
is not like the TV commercials. Jay Leno calls her, "one of America's
funniest female comics." She is the star of her own HBO and Comedy Central
Specials; a special correspondent for The Dr. Phil Show; and the only comedian
ever unchallenged on NBC’S Last Comic Standing. Other TV appearances include
the Joy Behar, Wanda Sykes and David Letterman shows; 10 Tonight Show
appearances; and appearances on the History Channel, VH1, E!, CNN, and ESPN.
Winner of the American Comedy Award for Best Female Comedian, her three CDs
include In Other Words. Billboard Magazine said, “…the listener is left wanting
more, much more.”
