Showtime Advertising Sales Representative

Bar Manager
Must be able to work evenings and weekends and also have some daytime hours for inventory, purchasing and administrative tasks.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Bar Manager oversees all bar operations at the Count Basie Theatre. The Bar Manager will ensure cash/credit reconciliation, interview applicants, conduct regular performance reviews, and train all staff. The bar manager reviews inventory, oversees staff, buys supplies and ensures that the bar and its operations meet legal standards and is impeccably run maximizing profit. This person will also establish a cooperative, team-oriented culture at the bar and make adjustments to ensure that customer service is always exemplary. The bar manager must know local, state and federal regulations for the sale and distribution of alcohol.
The bar manager will work closely with Operations Director and CEO to expand operations and maximize efficiencies.
Qualified candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and the willingness to be a team player. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have prior experience working at a food and beverage establishment, such as a hotel, restaurant, or club where alcohol is served, or managing a staff.
Bartenders (Part Time)
The Count Basie Theatre maintains a roster of experienced bartenders to work with the regular bar staff on an as-needed basis. Working hours are typically from 5 or 6PM to about 11PM. Experience in an upscale restaurant or nightclub atmosphere is highly desired. Scheduling is flexible. Send resumes and at least three references from previous employers to the Bar Manager at the address above.
