COUNT BASIE THEATRE ANNOUNCES NEWEST MEMBERS TO ITS BOARD OF TRUSTEES

 

(JULY 10 – RED BANK, NJ) The nonprofit Count Basie Theatre announced today the appointment of Mark Landesman, Mark Rohl and Philip Scaduto to its Board of Trustees.

Mark Landesman, a Certified Public Accountant, is President of ML Management Associates, Inc. (MLM), which oversees Eddie Murphy Productions, Inc. as well as affairs for Arsenio Hall, Chris Rock and over 100 other A-list Hollywood celebrities. As President of MLM, Mr. Landesman is responsible for guiding his clients through all phases of their careers and personal lives, overseeing real estate deals, investment strategies, contract negotiations, and estate / tax planning. Mr. Landesman has been named in The Hollywood Reporter’s “Top Business Manager” edition in each of the last four years.

Mark Rohl is Vice President, Sales of Rohl LLC, a giant in the plumbing and kitchen fixtures industry. Upon graduating from Oklahoma State University, Mr. Rohl started his marketing and sales career with the Marriott Corporation. Mr. Rohl joined his family’s business in 1985, and was on board for its 2016 acquisition by Fortune Brands, which includes fellow industry leaders Moen and Riobel. In addition to his new role at the Basie, Mr. Rohl is a member of Vistage Worldwide, an executive coaching group that helps executives hone their business skills, and is active in community programs that focus on children and young adults, including Kips Bay Boys and Girls Clubs in New York City.

Philip Scaduto is Vice President of Food Circus Supermarkets, Inc., co-owner of the Spirits Unlimited chain, managing director of Highland Traders, and a managing partner of land development company Mountain Hill, LLC. From 2010 – 2013, Mr. Scaduto served as Chairman of the Board for the New Jersey Food Council, receiving its Good Government and Industry Achievement awards. Mr. Scaduto is Vice Chairman of the Bayshore Hospital Foundation, a board member at the Meridian Hospital Foundation, and a corporate partner to the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore Medical Center. In 2015. Mr. Scaduto received the 43rd annual Joshua Huddy Distinguished Citizen Award for his community leadership and support of the Boy Scouts of America Monmouth County Council.
