The following document details the policies that we have in place to safeguard your privacy. By using our website, you are agreeing to the policies below.

From time to time, we may change this Privacy Policy. When we do, the” Last Updated” line above will be revised. You are responsible for regularly reviewing this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this website following the posting of a changed privacy policy indicates your acceptance of the changes. Unless we provide you with specific notice, no changes to our Privacy Policy will apply retroactively. Please also refer to our Terms and Conditions of Use.

Collection of Information

When you use the website, purchase tickets, make a contribution, or apply to be a Count Basie Center member you will be required to provide the Basie Center, our licensed ticketing vendor and member management database with information about yourself (collectively, the “Personal Information”). Such Personal Information may include, but not be limited to, your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number. We do not collect your Personal Information unless you voluntarily provide it to us. In addition to Personal Information, when you make a donation or purchase our products and services, you will be required to provide additional information including, but not limited to, credit card information (collectively, the “Billing Information”). Additionally, we may collect analytics data in the form of your IP address, browser type, mobile device, page views, and similar information based on your interaction with our website (collectively, the “Analytics Information”).

Most transactions involving the purchase of tickets are processed through our third-party ticketing providers. Tickets that are purchased online are purchased through such providers. Information collected by our affiliates is subject to their privacy policies and terms of use. Information shared with us from the affiliate is handled by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We will use all reasonable measures to destroy any such information collected upon learning that such information has been shared with us.
