Bike for the Basie
 Save the Date Saturday September 20th at Sandy HookRain Date: Sunday September 28th The wheels on the bicycle above represent the transformation underway this summer at the Count Basie Theatre. Closed for renovations, when the Theatre re-opens in October 2008 the ceiling, once just white, will be painted with the magnificent detail of the clouds and colors. Hope to see you at the Basie! Enjoy a great morning on your bicycle, bring the family, explore Sandy Hook and Fort Hancock and Be A Part of the Basie in a new and exciting way! The Count Basie Theatre has been a landmark in Red Bank for over 80 years. Operating as a non profit organization, ticket sales cover less than 50% of the expenses. Support from special events like Bike for the Basie allows the Theatre to flourish. Your participation in the first ever, Bike for the Basie is a terrific way to support the Basie. It will help us ensure that it continues to be a place for the community to gather for generations to come.
